Biography

Dr. Behnam Ghalami Choobar is a faculty member at the University of Guilan and a researcher specializing in lithium-ion batteries. He completed his graduate and postdoctoral studies in Chemical Engineering with a focus on advanced energy technologies and has conducted research across a broad range of topics related to electrochemical energy systems.

His research interests include Battery Management Systems (BMS), State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) estimation, physics-informed machine learning for battery monitoring and diagnostics, multiscale modeling of lithium-ion batteries, molecular dynamics simulation of electrolytes, and the investigation of electrochemical transport and degradation mechanisms.

In addition to his academic activities, Dr. Ghalami Choobar enjoys mountaineering, hiking, and gardening. He believes that engagement with nature fosters creativity, concentration, and intellectual vitality, contributing positively to scientific research and innovation.
